Recovering from the shock of this year’s election.
Shock
Not much was accomplished this week other than to make sure our passports were in order. For the most part, the realization is starting to hit home, for some, it’s denial, disbelief, get the fuck out of here!
Awe
What can I say, years of Fox News, coupled with sub-par education, and you get Donald J. Trump for president. The demographic that put him over the top was the non-college-educated white male, the ones who feel they have no future, so let’s just burn it all down and start over.
Freedom
Freedom comes in many shapes and sizes, this website exists because of Open Source, I’m free to innovate on other people’s work. The openness of the Net allows for me to compete on equal footing with everyone else.
My fear is that a Trump presidency will side with the digital content giants and kill the hyperlink. Along with whatever legislation a Republican controlled administration passes, like Fast Track.
