Mark Otto, the creator of Bootstrap, designed our new front page.
His Cover template was the simplistic vibe I wanted to set. Paid a visit to Mark’s blog to inquire about the licensing on the example templates, received a prompt reply on GitHub. Nice to know that you can get a large user base and not get a large head, I hold out hope.
Mark’s blog is a history of the Bootstrap project, a timeline; when it happened, how he approached it, his demeanor at different release points. Success isn’t a formula, you’ll end up deducing, it’s a belief.
The licensing on the Themes featured here allow me to sell them to you. So I can put a $10 dollar price tag on each and every one of them, await the 100,000th download, and I’m a TXP:Millionaire. But then I’d get lazy, be off traveling one day, find that perfect spot on earth, and lose focus.
The cover is graced by my long time desktop wallpaper, the Batman.
This image follows me everywhere, to every device I use, drives my daughter crazy since she changes her wallpaper frequently. I set it as the background wallpaper on our Honda Accord’s analog clock, riding shotgun unsettles her now. Brought her to her knees in hysterical laughter upon catching a glimpse of our new front page, I think she’s cracking.
I can see it now, we’ll be up in the front…
Smilin’, man…
Ahh, beautiful…
