The X Generation

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.

What have I done?

You know when you wake up after a night out on the town?

You slowly emerge from your comatose state, the imagery in your eyes improving as you blink. The taste buds coming alive as you hydrate, in turn re-firing the neurons in your head.

That’s the way I’ve been feeling this week, looking over what I did in a coding binge last year. What had I done? Did I bite off more than I could chew?

When I was fully awake, I started making changes here and there.

  • Navigational adjustments
  • Tweaking headers and footers
  • Massaging and creating new content

The ease of getting back in the saddle, allayed my fears.

When my five year old granddaughter comes to visit, she always asks me for her phone. I hand her my backup Moto G 3rd generation on Wi-Fi, I’m sporting a Moto G Plus 4th gen. You can say we’re both fairly new to smart phones.

At her age, all I had was a transistor radio that the whole family fought over. Android is like second nature to her. Had I been born into the tech revolution, what I know now, I would of learned at a much earlier age.

By the time my granddaughter is 15, she can take over for me. Easily trainable on the concepts, click here and there, piece of cake Dude.

That’s who I’m building for, those that follow, for my generation are neophytes.
